The music video “Romero” (in English and Spanish) has been seen by over 36,000 people from all over the world. The music and video may be experienced at TheMartyrsProject.com.

On March 28, 2014 Rome Reports TV News Agency featured the television story in a report on the anniversary of Romero’s assassination. Here is a link to both English and Spanish versions of the broadcast:
Rome Reports video (en Espanol)
http://www.romereports.com/pg156243-musica-para-recordar-a-monsenor-scar-romero-al-cumplirse-34-anos-de-su-asesinato-es
Rome Reports video (English)
http://www.romereports.com/pg156242-new-song-celebrates-father-oscar-romero-marking-34-anniversary-of-his-murder-en

The Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, (USA) Christopher Coyne has been very involved and supportive of this work. Bishop Coyne interviewed the participants, Duane W.H. Arnold and Michael Glen Bell, in his “Let Us Walk Together” podcast in January, 2013.
http://thoughtsofacatholicbishop.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-martyrs-project-podcast-part-1.html

About the song and video
- Michael Glen Bell and Duane W.H. Arnold composed and produced the song and video.
- The static at the beginning of the song is an homage to Radio Paz since this is the radio station that Romero used to do his broadcasts.
- At the beginning of the song “Romero” there is a recording of Monsignor Romero saying Mass and the sound of a gunshot. This is a recording of the moment and the very gunshot that killed Romero recorded by a nun who was present at the hospital chapel in San Salvador on the day of Romero’s assassination on March 24, 1980.

FOR MORE INFORMATION
CONTACT: Info@TheMartyrsProject.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11303421506936953840noreply@blogger.com
